Keith Olbermann eloquently defends Marriage Equality…

I feel like I have written several dozen posts in my head during the last week but time has not been on my side. Every November sneaks up on me, which at work means time for our annual food show that serves as a reminder of all the job titles I have. I feel a bit robbed that I haven’t had an opportunity to really process, much less write about, the election results.

Not to mention some cool articles that I’ve bumped into during my five minute mental smoke breaks. Which also brings to mind my process of quitting the other habit of sucking in toxins. That’s another post that turned into a small novel with no ending chapter. Yeah, I’m feeling rather scattered. Since I don’t have the energy for anything too deep tonight (especially after splitting a split with myself) I’m just going to wade in the mental muddy water…

I had to revel in the irony after reading that Isaiah Washington slammed Grey’s Anatomy for the recent questionable firing of Brooke Smith. Then his ego stepped back into the interview when asked for the solution to fix the show. “Bring Burke back!”

Changing the channel…

Engineers at the University of Washington have developed contact lenses with integrated circuitry. This achievement could lay the groundwork for the “bionic eye.” Researchers hope that the lenses, once completed, will allow users to zoom in on distant objects and see useful facts. Future applications might allow drivers and pilots to see their direction and speed projected across their view or to surf the Web without a monitor.
