Remember when my boss sent a limo for all the women in my office to have manicures and lunch? That must have struck some girly cord in me because I liked it and have wanted to go back. Our office party is on Friday night so that seems like a good enough excuse.

I went over the weekend and got my hair cut and I’m heading to Capitol Hill tonight with my friend Lisa for some more pampering at Salon Dewi. Dewi is apparently Balinese for “Goddess” and I’m very ready to let go of all my stress and be treated like one… First up is a 1/2 hour massage (which they have on holiday special), then a visit with the “waxing diva” (eyebrows only before you read his speciality), and finishing up with a french mani. It is good to treat yourself occassionally, right? Who knows, I still have a little time to get over my bah-humbug attitude.

Although I doubt that I will be going all out like some uppity people I know…

I wish I knew how to quit you, Christmas.
