For once, I actually wrote this on Monday… but then I got all distracted and didn’t even post it. Via the one and only Sherri:

1. What was the worst nickname you had as a child?
Skeeter

2. What is the most embarrassing thing that happened to you at school?
2nd grade: A kid tripped me and I feel face first onto a desk and knocked my front teeth out…yes, with blood galore. Little bastard could also be blamed for the 4 miserable years I spent in braces.

3. What was your most memorable haircut?
6th grade: I chopped my long (down to my ass) hair off above my ears. I cried for weeks and have never made such a drastic change to my hair again.

4. Which fashion trend makes you cringe when you look at old pictures?
Not a “trend” per say, but Homeskillet and I have been going through old pics and laughing about how many of our clothes were homemade. I think this is a southern po-child thing, correct me if I’m wrong…

5. Who was your first celebrity crush?
I’m sure this was not the first, but the earliest one I can remember is Jared Leto

6. What was the first concert you attended?
My older cousin took me to my first few concerts, all country music. I don’t remember what came first though, it was either Reba or Clint Black… or maybe Dwight Yoakam at the rodeo. I’d have to pull out the old ticket stubs to figure out what came first.

7. Were you ever in a school play or recital? What was your role?
I was in several school plays. I was a witch, a reporter, a thug but the most traumatizing was when our class was forced to perform a dance routine to “Coming to America”. I’m surprised I didn’t fall off the stage trying to do anything with that “one size fits all” top hat over my eyes.

8. What was your favorite Halloween costume?
My favorite costume was dressing up as a mechanic and having the sorority girls whistle at me. Oh wait… this is childhood memories, my bad. The cutest was Princess Leia but my favorite was when I could decide between a cat and a witch so I was a witch with whiskers.

9. What did you want to be when you grew up?
A doctor or a vet

10. What was your favorite cartoon?
That would depend on the time-frame… but I’ll go with She-Ra & Transformers
