Recaps & Karmic Hail
Paddle or Die, Sound Bytes, The Emerald City May 31st, 2006Sorry for my unannounced absence, we have had a lot going on in the house of Greer these days and I don’t think it’s going to slow down much anytime soon. Lach and I took the day off yesterday for an extra long long weekend and it was the best possible decision ever. We went to REI and picked up some

The

I feel rather guilty now over profiteering on the Saturday night tickets. For the first time ever, the Gorge actually had to stop a concert because of insane weather… lightening and spikey hail to be exact. I was expecting hate mail when I returned home but luckily there was none in the inbox.
Anywho, I’m going to be working on Atlas Burning for a few days, so don’t get worried that pissed off concert goers may have found where I live. Since Lach’s already threatened intruders with swords, I don’t think we have much to worry about anyways.

Yay for Sasquatch!
Matisyahu and Beck were my 2 favorites that night. But no matter what I couldn’t have had better time with you girls.

I wanted to take a nap in Kittitas (KITTIES), but I was so tired I forgot.

You know I have to ask: Why is Lach’s rudder not in the water?
June 5th, 2006 at 7:21 am
Treppenwitz, her rudder is up because the water was very smooth on the lake at that time. The rudder helps you to keep the boat straight in rough waters but isn’t really needed when the water is calm.

Excellent question, Trep. The other answer is I like to live dangerously.

I like Lach’s answer better.

Hehe. Well, I do like to do things a little off-kilter… thank goodness I have Bayou on hand to keep me from doing something less like edgy and more like, well- stupid.

Yeah, well that’s why she’s the writer and I’m just a hack.
